uncommon common sense

technology serving nature

A renowned humanitarian leader who — decades ago — wrote of humankind’s relationship with Nature has said, more recently, “Mother nature and humans are in an agitated state.”  Concurrent with the agitation — so obviously apparent — is an unparalleled  opportunity to re-imagine possibility from a point of view which includes uncommon common sense.

The Technology Serving Nature page features a selection of previous Green Oasis Now blogs which provide the context within which Green Oasis Now currently re-imagines possibilty.  Our uncommon common sense approach emphasizes a new look at back-to-basics — that which is most essential in adapting to, and thriving within, the effects of ongoing and increasing environmental changes.

Technology Amid Ongoing Global Change

Technology has two faces.  One face is arrogant.  The other face is beneficent.  Technology serving nature can contribute to both planetary well-being and personal well-being.  However, it takes no imagination to see that the arrogant face of technology continues to contribute to a far different outcome. We live in a global culture that tends to be enamored with, and often distracted by, increasingly complex technology without considering the direction in which it is leading, or the conflicting signals it presents.

Harmony with Nature

Harmony with Nature is the theme of our new, and ongoing, Green Oasis Now blog.

We are beckoned to apply refined and innovative technology to the design and building of a countryside dwelling which will demonstrate in a cohesive way, that which is — in our view — a common sense approach to harmonizing with Earth while also enjoying a comfortable, non-extravagant, expansive ambiance and having no concerns about weather-related or power supply issues.  Further information will be forthcoming, when appropriate, in our blog postings.

To us, this is a “common sense” point of view.
